Estate Gardens, Set in the heart of the Trevarno Estate, which dates back to 1246,
the beautiful Victorian and Georgian gardens are gradually being
restored by Mike Sarin and his team. There are a variety of themed
gardens within the Estate including a special collection of bamboos
and a 'pinetum' comprising nearly 200 varieties.
The newly opened National Museum of Gardening is a remarkable celebration of Britain’s gardening heritage. There are a number of workshops on site including The Bee Workshop, The Organic Herbal and the Handmade Soap Workshop. You can ‘try before you buy’ as far as soap is concerned because we use it as the guest soap in our cottages.
We’ve worked out a short, circular walk from our doorstep, which takes in Trevarno.
